Dave Langerholz – President & Founder of Wi-Com Solutions
With over 30 years of experience in the wireless communications industry, Dave Langerholz has built Wi-Com Solutions into a leading provider of wireless and landline voice and data solutions across Canada.
Dave began his career as a Certified Electronics Technician, working as a Two-Way Radio Technician from 1992 to 1996 before transitioning into telecommunications sales. After moving from Burnaby, BC, to Calgary, AB, in 1999, he spent nine years at TAC Mobility, where he led teams and managed two-way radio operations.
On October 1, 2009, Dave founded Wi-Com Solutions, driven by his passion for innovation and customer-focused communication solutions. Under his leadership, the company has grown through multiple strategic acquisitions, including Alberta Wireless, Cal-Comm, Tridon Communications Banff, TAC Solutions, AWC Communications, Rider Media, and Direct Access Radio (Radioshop.ca Ottawa).
Today, Wi-Com Solutions is a full-service wireless communications provider, offering two-way radio sales, service, and rentals from Motorola and Icom, as well as satellite voice and data solutions from Iridium and Inmarsat.
Lori Hutchinson – A Key Member of the Wi-Com Solutions Team!
Lori brings extensive experience in the cellular industry, having dedicated 15 years to Rogers in customer service before advancing into retail management. She was also part of the launch team at Wind Mobile (now Shaw Mobile) and later continued her career with Best Buy before joining Wi-Com Solutions.
Initially hired to oversee Bell services, Lori’s role has expanded significantly as Wi-Com Solutions has evolved. Now, she plays a dynamic and versatile role, managing a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations. With each day presenting new challenges, Lori thrives in Wi-Com’s fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Lori’s favorite part of her job? Building strong relationships with customers and embracing new challenges that keep her engaged and motivated.

As Rentals Coordinator at Wi-Com Solutions, Ethan handles everything related to rental communication solutions—from programming and cleaning to ensuring each device is ready for customers who need them daily or monthly. Ethan's day involves helping clients find the best communication tools and keeping rentals in top condition for businesses across industries.
Before joining Wi-Com, Ethan trained in digital photography in Kelowna, BC, capturing moments and making people smile. Later, he transitioned into audio/visual work, gaining hands-on tech experience before finding his place at Wi-Com Solutions.
Ethan's background in photography and A/V taught him the importance of people-first solutions. In both fields, he worked with clients from all walks of life, listening to their needs and helping them find the right solution—just like he does now at Wi-Com.
The best part of his job? Serving others. Whether supporting local businesses in Calgary or clients nationwide, Ethan takes pride in making communication seamless and reliable.
Oh, and fun fact—Ethan is a lot shorter in person than he sounds like on the phone! 😆
