Pre-Hardened FIPS-Compliant Network Video Recorders

The fifth-generation Avigilon Network Video Recorder (NVR5 FIPS) FIPS series delivers secure, high-performance recording, throughput, data availability, and protection for your Avigilon video security system.

Our network security recorders are pre-hardened to meet FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Security Requirements and protect data-at-rest. All NVRs are preloaded with Avigilon Control Center (ACC^TM) video management software that uses FIPS-compliant cryptography for secure network video recording and video encryption. Avigilon cameras connected to NVR5 Servers encrypt data-in-flight using FIPS-compliant cryptography.

Certified Infrastructure on Government Networks

Certificate verification to ensure Avigilon servers are interfacing with authorized devices such as Avigilon cameras and workstations on the Government network. Designed with cybersecurity in mind, the NVR5 comes with a TPM 2.0 module built-in to support hardware Root of Trust authentication and data encryption.
