Motorola WAVE OnCloud, also known as WAVE PTX, is a subscription-based service for group communications on supported devices. Wi-Com helps Canadian teams choose dedicated handsets, vehicle radios, smartphone access and dispatch options, then sets up the service around how the team works.

WAVE can connect users nationwide where supported cellular or Wi-Fi service is available. It is not satellite communications and does not provide coverage where those networks are unavailable. Plans, device support and optional features are confirmed with Wi-Com.
